For promoters
Is it really free?
Yes — promoters never pay a cent. You earn a share of the sales you refer. That's it.
How does Kommit know I referred someone?
You get a referral link like kommit.aimgonna.com/r/yourcode. When someone clicks it, we remember your link in their browser for 30 days. If they buy in that window, the sale is credited to you — automatically.
How much do I earn?
Each app sets its own commission — say 20%. You earn that share of what the buyer pays. For subscription apps set to “recurring,” you keep earning each month the customer stays.
When do I get paid? (how many days?)
Each sale is held for a holding period — 30 days by default (each app can set its own) — so refunds are covered. After that the commission is confirmed and paid to your connected Stripe account, which then deposits to your bank on Stripe's usual schedule. No invoices, no chasing.
Do I need a big audience?
No. A small audience still counts. Share honestly where you already are — a tweet, a Discord, a group chat.
What do I even post?
Pick an app you've actually used. Our AI interviews you about your experience and drafts a post in your own voice. You edit it and post — no slop, no fake hype.
What if the buyer refunds?
That's exactly why there's a holding period — refunded sales simply don't pay out. No surprise clawbacks later.
How do I actually get the money?
Connect a Stripe payout account (most countries supported). Confirmed commissions are sent straight there.
For builders
How do I add affiliates to my app?
List your app, drop one tracking snippet into your site's <head>, and connect Stripe. AI drafts your directory listing from your README. About 10 minutes.
How does the tracking work?
The snippet reads the referral tag from the URL and passes it to Stripe at checkout. A per-program webhook then credits the right promoter for each sale. Full details in the setup guide.
Do I keep my own Stripe?
Yes. Your payments stay in your Stripe account. Kommit connects read-only to see which sales came from promoters, and helps you pay them their share.
Can I set the commission?
You choose the rate and whether it's recurring (paid each month) or one-time. You're in control.
